Superflex

Designed for reinstatement and deposit removal in 75-225mm pipes. Superflex navigates 90° bends, cuts through stubborn material, and gives full camera feedback. It’s precise, powerful, and works in all common pipe materials.

Down the branch (DTB) cutter

The DTB accesses the pipe from the branch side, which is ideal for junctions where mainline access isn’t an option. Compact but strong, it opens liners cleanly from 75-150mm. Comes with rods, adaptors, skids, and a high-tensile wire brush. Choose 3:1 or 5:1 motor depending on bend radius and torque.

Lateral cutter

The Springbok lateral cutter is built for reliability. Operated via a handlebar system connected to steel cane rods, the cutter's movement throughout the pipe is easily controlled. Cuts through liners cleanly, works in pipes from 100-300mm, and holds up under pressure. It’s a good all-rounder and easy to maintain.

Gecko E Lateral

What’s the difference between cutting and cleaning in pipe rehabilitation?

Cutting usually refers to reopening laterals, trimming liners, or removing hard materials like concrete or roots. Cleaning focuses on clearing scale, grease, and general buildup to restore flow and prep the pipe for lining or inspection.

Do I need different cutting and cleaning tools for different pipe materials?

Yes. PVC, clay, cast iron and concrete all behave differently. Some tools are more effective on softer materials, while others are designed to power through metal or concrete. Always match the cutter or cleaning head to the pipe type and condition.

How do I choose the right size pipe cutter or miller?

Start with the pipe diameter and job type. Smaller tools are great for tight bends and light reinstatement. Larger tools offer more power for tough blockages or cutting through liners. How do I know when a pipe needs cutting vs. just cleaning?

If you’re dealing with scale, grease, or soft buildup, cleaning might be enough. But if the pipe has roots, concrete, or needs lateral re-opening after lining, cutting tools are required. A CCTV survey will usually tell you which route to go.
