What is CIPP patching?

CIPP patching is a no-dig method for repairing damaged sections of pipe by installing a resin-impregnated fibreglass patch using an inflatable packer. Once cured, the patch forms a permanent, reinforced repair.

What pipe sizes can be repaired with patch kits?

Straight patch kits are available for pipes from 70mm to 600mm in diameter, while radius kits can repair bends in 100mm and 150mm pipes. LED patch kits cover 100mm to 600mm pipes. Patch kits for specialist sizes are available upon request, plus our bulk patching materials can be used on any diameter.

How long does a pipe patch repair take to cure?

Cure times vary depending on resin type and temperature. For fast patching, we recommend using our LED systems which cure in as little as 6-10 minutes. We can supply a full temperature and cure time guide on request.

How long do patch repairs last?

When installed correctly, patch repairs are structurally sound, water-tight, and designed to last over 50 years, meeting WRc standards for long-term performance.
