CIPP LINING & PATCHING TRAINING COURSE
Aims to provide an understanding of all levels of CIPP Lining & Patching, offering confidence that attendees can successfully install liners and patches in diameters up to 300mm.
What’s included:
- Intensive two-day training course.
- Provides a comprehensive understanding of all levels of CIPP Lining & Patching.
- Builds confidence in installing liners and patches up to 300mm in diameter.
- Covers both basic and intermediate installation techniques.

CIPP Patching Training Course
Educates the course attendee on the correct methodology to complete a successful patch installation in diameters up to 300mm.

CIPP Lining & Patching Refresher Training Course
Designed for engineers whose EU Skills certification has expired after three years, providing an essential update on best practices for carrying out CIPP repairs.
What’s included:
- One day refresher course.
- Updates attendees on current best practices for CIPP repairs.
- Reinforces core knowledge from initial certification training.
- Includes practical hands-on assessments for patch repair and ambient cure CIPP lining.
- Covers key modules such as drain ownership, safe working, and CIPP design.
- Highlights the most widely used CIPP techniques across the UK.
- Offers flexibility by allowing engineers to demonstrate a repair using their preferred installation method.
- Ensures attendees skills are current, compliant, and confidently applied in the field.
CIPP Patching Refresher Training Course
Designed for engineers whose EU Skills certification has expired after three years, offering updates on industry best practices for CIPP patch repairs in diameters up to 300mm.
What’s included:
- Half-day refresher course.
- Focuses specifically on CIPP patch repair techniques for pipes up to 300mm in diameter.
- Delivers essential updates on current industry standards and best practices.
- Reinforces core knowledge to maintain technical accuracy.
- Reviews key CIPP design principles relevant to patch repair projects.
- Provides guidance on site investigation and effective repair method selection.
- Includes a practical installation assessment to demonstrate hands-on competence.

Who are the training courses suitable for?
Our certified CIPP Lining & Patching Training Courses are designed for a wide range of industry professionals, including drainage engineers; site managers; water authorities; and tier 1 contractors. All courses aim to provide a detailed education on the world of CIPP, offering confidence that all attendees have been trained to a high skill level. We offer four types of training course that are accredited by EU Skills & approved by the WRc: CIPP Lining & Patching; CIPP Patching; CIPP Lining & Patching Refresher; and CIPP Patching Refresher. All training courses consist of a combination of both classroom based and practical activities to ensure a well-rounded education. Upon course completion, attendees receive an EU Skills accredited qualification.
What qualification will I receive upon course completion?
Upon successful completion of any of our courses, participants receive a nationally recognised EU Skills accredited qualification, which is also approved by the WRc. This certification validates your competency in CIPP lining and/or patching, ensuring you’re compliant with UK industry standards and best practices.
Are the courses classroom-based or practical?
All our training courses include a balanced mix of theoretical (classroom-based) learning and hands-on practical training. This dual approach helps attendees understand not just the “why” but also the “how” behind each repair method, boosting both confidence and the ability for attendees to successfully conduct repairs in the real world.
What if my EU Skills certification has expired?
If your certification has lapsed, you can renew your qualification by attending one of our refresher courses. These courses focus on current industry standards, reinforce key knowledge, and include both written and practical assessments to ensure you’re up to date with today’s CIPP requirements.
