Back in July 2021 we introduced the first ever WRc Approved, EU Skill Accredited, CIPP Lining & Patching Training Course. Designed specifically for drainage engineers; site managers; water authorities; and tier 1 contractors; the training course provides an education on the installation of patching and lining in diameters up to 300mm.
Rather than just a supplier, we aim to be an extension of your team, with a goal to increase the quality of workmanship in the industry and ensure correct practices lead to a quality product for the asset owner.
Our one-of-a-kind course is run over the period of two days, aiming to provide an understanding of all levels of CIPP lining and patching. Our goal is to offer confidence that all attendees have been trained to a high skill level and understand how to successfully install liners and patches in diameters up to 300mm. Additionally, the course gives an overview of more advanced installation methodologies, inclusive of hot and UV LED cure lining.
To ensure a well-rounded education is received, training is both classroom-based and practical with an assessment at the end of each day to test the attendee’s knowledge. Once the course has been completed and all assessments have been passed, each participant receives an industry approved EU skills accreditation that has been approved by the WRc.
Our Sales Director, Phil Steele, commented: “I believe our training course gives confidence to the market that contractors and engineers are competent at CIPP before approving them to work on their assets.”
Training is undertaken at our head office in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, within our purpose-built training centre and can be booked for up to 6 people at a time.
