Copied!

We would like to thank our customers for their continual support and business over the past 12 months!

We have supplied the materials and equipment for a variety of high-profile installations over the past year, distributing over 9000 separate orders to more than 640 customers in total, and shipping to over 30 different countries. Our global reach has expanded greatly with customers using our products all over the world, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, the UAE, and the USA.

Our number of distributors has also increased significantly, with more than 15 distributor depots in the UK and over 40 across the globe. We have had some fantastic equipment and material sales over the year, with the dispatch of over: 20 Krasotech Sluices; 74 inversion drums; and 38,000 RSM Pipe Aid kits along with 2000 packers & 200 stoppers.

None of this would have been possible without the move to our new premises back in 2022. With our warehouse space more than doubling, we have been able to increase stock levels of our core product range to ensure we can always offer our customers what they need, when they need it.

Additionally, our new facility has allowed us to house two separate impregnation stations, effectively doubling our impregnation capacity. This has been incredibly beneficial to our wet-out team, proven in the number of different liners that have been impregnated throughout 2023. We have supplied more than:

  • 4000 metres of Pressure Pipe liner.
  • 36 kilometres of inversion liner impregnated with Polyester & Epoxy resins.
  • Hundreds of felt liners impregnated with 26,000kg UV LED Vinylester resin and 4000kg of our newest UV LED resin, offering a leak tight finish.

As our business continues to grow and evolve, we have welcomed a multitude of new staff members across all departments, including:

  • 3 drivers
  • 5 warehouse operatives
  • 1 impregnation operative
  • 2 additions to the operations team
  • 4 additions to the sales team

Maintaining a close-knit community of staff has always been a priority for RSM to ensure we get the best out of our employees and work together to guarantee our customers get the finest service possible. We are incredibly pleased to have welcomed such highly skilled individuals to the RSM team.

RSM place high value on the continual development of our employees and have supported multiple staff members through various training courses throughout the year whilst also offering internal promotions.

Jayne Rowntree, our Office Manager, recently obtained her Level 3 Apprenticeship Qualification in HR Management. Jayne has been a vital member of the finance team for the past 9 years. Beginning her career at RSM as our credit controller she has gradually undertaken further responsibilities – alongside being our designated Mental Health First Aider, Jayne is now responsible for the HR function. Jayne is an asset to RSM, and we are incredibly pleased to have been able to support her professional development.

One of our longest serving employees, Andrew Scott, received a promotion to Office Sales Manager back in April. With over 12 years’ experience at RSM, Andy’s commitment, knowledge, and desire to ensure the best for RSM have made him the perfect fit for his new role. Andy is now responsible for the day to day running of the UK sales team and ensuring a high level of training is provided for all new members of the sales team.

Thursday 7th September 2023 saw the return of our infamous Open Day, the first hosted at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. Over 250 guests experienced the opportunity to see our product range in one place, along with newly launched equipment and services, demonstrations, networking, plenty of food & drink and an incredible after party hosted by Judge Jules.

Highlights of the day included the premiere of our new Gecko Cam. This is RSM’s first ever camera system which we believe perfectly complements our current product range. It is a push rod system with a self-levelling camera, available with 40, 60, 80, and 120 metres of cable.

Alongside this, we debuted our newest range of UV LED cure technology with the upgraded Sewertronics LEDRig, brand new Sewertronics SpeedyLight+ VX System, and expanded range of UV LED resins with the introduction of our leak tight UV LED resin. UV LED LT is the only IKT tested leak tight UV cure resin available in the market and is fast becoming incredibly popular within the wastewater industry.

Additionally, we recently expanded one of our most popular product lines to encompass two new variations. RSM Echo Liner was first introduced to the CIPP industry back in 2020 and fast became a well-known brand within the market. It offers a flexible lining solution for sewer rehabilitation and has the capability to go round bends of up to 90 degrees. Echo liner is seam-free to guarantee optimum flexibility and compatible with all curing methods.

The new Echo Glass has a circular knit construction reinforced with fibreglass. The addition of glass offers a higher strength characteristic than with traditional Echo Liner, providing an increased level of support for the installation. Echo Diameter Change has a similar construction but includes elastomeric yarns to increase the elasticity of the liner. This means it has the capability to undertake two diameter changes, making it the perfect solution when re-lining host pipes demonstrating multiple different internal diameters. All Echo Liner variants have the capability to go round bends of up to 90 degrees and are compatible with Epoxy, Silicate, and UV LED resins.

Another key talking point throughout the Open Day centred around RSM’s brand-new app. An industry first, RSM bring multiple aspects of the wastewater industry under one roof in a simple, easy to use app which houses helpful tools and information for users to utilise both in the office and on site. The new & improved app boasts multiple features, inclusive of an online shop, marketplace, recruitment area, resin & cure time calculators, and advertising space.

Our Managing Director, Richard Davis, commented “The Open Day was a massive success, the success of the Open Day is a testament to the incredible teamwork, innovation, and commitment that all employees bring to RSM. It reflects our collective achievements, and I could not be prouder of how far we have come together. Of course, we would not be able to do what we do without the support of our customers & I would like to personally thank them for their commitment, support, and loyalty over the years. I hope everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day”.

We would like to thank all our loyal customers for their continued custom and support over the years – here’s to 2024!
